The range here at Little Minnesota is almost finished. What is left to do is mostly just moving dirt, which can be done buy hand using shovels and buckets. I am hoping to be able to have it open for business sometime late this Spring, but the more help I get the sooner it will open.
I am figuring that the range can be used any reasonable time that one of the rangemasters is on site - probably from noon to sundown will be "regular" hours. Rangemasters are currently Me (Ron Helwig), Mike Ruff, and Carl Soderstrom. Bill and/or Kate can be considered associate rangemasters, who can run the range as long as another tenant here is on the premises.
Cost to use the range is a suggested donation of a quarter ounce of silver (approximately $5) per visit. You may bring your own paper targets to use, and we are expecting to have metal targets. Your own non-paper targets will probably be allowed upon inspection by one of our rangemasters.
Lifetime memberships are available to those who either donate at least $40 to range construction or donate a day's worth of labor. ID is not required for those who are known to the rangemasters.
